Richard Stephens Chris Parry

Group Consultant

Richard is an experienced Marketing Consultant, founder & majority
shareholder of Creative Direction Consultants Ltd. Marketing and
Design Consultancy.

He studied Graphic Design, Business Studies and achieved the first
ever creative Diploma distinction in Communications Advertising &
Marketing Foundation (CAM) at Southampton. He has worked in
Health Education, Print and several Design Consultancies as well as
the Advertising industry. During five years at Brunning Advertising
& Marketing, he became their youngest ever Creative Director -
working on strategy and image campaigns across brands such as
Saab, ICI, Foster Wheeler, Nixdorf Computers, GEC and BNFL...

In 1979 he founded Creative Direction Consultants with the simple
idea to provide large company marketers with "direct,
un-compromised access to creative and marketing expertise".

Twenty-two years later, Creative Direction has a wide and successful
track record with some of the worlds biggest and most successful
corporations- Microsoft, Vodafone, Gartner Group and Raymarine are
a few that lead their market sectors.

The Company retains and closely protects a valuable reputation for
honesty and straightforwardness as well as provision of a range of
high quality services, project management and creative dynamics.
Its excellent trade (and above all professional) reputation with its
various and in some cases long-term "partner" suppliers is well
known and the company relies on these strong relationships to
provide full design, marketing and print/ production services to
its clients.

Richard is also a founder member and chair on the Business Council
and Mobile Services Group of InterForum, the not for profit UK
steerage organisation.

The meeting between Richard and Chris Parry in October 2001
exposed a vision shared by both men- to create a better, more
effective way to manage the increasing number of marketing
services for clients - the outcome of months of planning was
called DirectionGroup.
